After a well-earned rest, the BY Projects team have been back for a week and started in ‘full swing’.
We have projects in various stages, a social media campaign to keep our followers up to date with project progress, and our thoughts on different design and practice issues.
We will start this month with some introductions to each member of the BY Projects team, their passions and reasons for becoming an Architect, and answering relevant Frequently Asked Questions.
We have several projects in various stages of design, documentation and construction, and would also like to share with you regular updates – which may prove useful to understand the processes we describe on our website.
The processes are similar for varying project types. Currently we are preparing a variety of project types, including residential additions and alterations, new homes, multi-residential developments, including Townhouses and Apartments, Social Housing, and some Education projects.

Some projects have complicated Planning regulations to apply including Heritage Overlays and Bush Fire Management issues, which we manage and design with the instigation of the processes to insure the best outcomes for all.
Whilst all projects consider issues of Sustainability and Accessibility, we have some very specific residential renovations aimed toward Ageing In Place.
We have lots of experience with Nursing homes – however providing for Ageing in Place is a completely different concept. It allows for ageing persons to remain in their own home and independent as long as possible – and gives them the choice to have in-home assistance when the time may arise.
We would love for you to follow our journey throughout the year and we promise you’ll learn a lot.
